About Temi
A proud Southern California native, Temi was born in Inglewood to Nigerian immigrant parents and is the youngest of four children. Her passion for film, television, and live performance began early and was nurtured throughout her high school years, where she discovered her love for acting through theatrical productions. Before transferring to USC, Temi spent a year at the University of California Irvine, where she majored in Literary Journalism and minored in Drama. Her time at UCI was marked by significant creative and leadership development. She served on the board of the Black Door Theatre Company and collaborated on several short films with the Film and Drama Alliance, these are experiences that deepened her commitment to both storytelling and community.
In current day, Temi is a Los Angeles-based actor, writer, and student currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations with a double minor in Screenwriting and Theatre at the University of Southern California. She aims for her eduaction to reflect her deep interest in strategic communication and storytelling across mediums. At USC, Temi has continued to cultivate her craft. She recently performed in the School of Dramatic Arts’ mainstage production of Machinal by Sophie Treadwell and is vice president of the sketch comedy troupe, the 4th Quarter All Stars. Outside the classroom and stage, she works as a Gallery Guide at the California African American Museum, where she channels her passion for Black art, history, and cultural representation. She is committed to using her artistry and communication skills to elevate stories that matter, especially those rooted in Black experiences and creative expression.
In addition to acting, Temi is an emerging screenwriter. She is particularly interested in creating narratives that center underrepresented voices and aims to integrate her writing and performance skills into a career focused on impactful, authentic storytelling. Her education in Public Relations further supports this vision, equipping her with the tools to engage audiences thoughtfully and strategically.
In her free time, Temi enjoys watching films and plays, solving NYT puzzles, eating at restaurants, and spending quality time with friends.
